School Holidays / Term Break

Just a quick reminder that this week is the last week for the Term so no Playgroup for 2 weeks.

Also, was having a look at shopping centre websites over the school holidays to see if anything interesting is going on, couldnt find much so if anyone else does send us let us know....

Anyway, here is what I did find if its of any interest to anyone:

* Smurfs live show at Watergardens, Monday 26 - Friday 30, 11am and 1pm.

* ABC for kids activity village at Point Cook Shopping Centre, Monday 26 - Friday 30, 11am - 2pm.

* Pizza Chefs, Bake your own Pizza at Point Cook Shopping Centre, Monday 26 - Friday 30, 10am - 12pm.

* Petting Zoo, Docklands, Daily throughout holidays.

$5 Kids Movies every weekend

Some of you may already know this but did you know that Sunshine Village Cinemas offer kids movies for $5 each weekend. This weekend they are showing cars.

Melbourne Zoo Play Day

Open Day - Thursday 28 July at 9.30am

Dancetime at Bunnings

Not sure if anyone is interested but Bunnings (one that just opened up around the corner on Ballarat Rd) are starting up their first Dancetime sessions for kids. There will be one on tomorrow, Saturday at 10am, will go for around 30 mins. They have said for 5 years and up but I am sure that the 3/4 year olds would enjoy it as well.

They are also going to be offering it next weekend on Saturday and Sunday at 10am, and for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (10am) of the first week of the holidays.

Open Day - Thursday 28 July at 9.30am

Keep your eyes and ears open for more details to come of the Open Day coming up on Thursday 28 July. This will be a way for us to promote the Derrimut Community Centre and existing playgroups. Brimbank Council, Playgroup Victoria and the YMCA will be helping to make this a really great day for your children. Please plan on attending.

Holidays coming up

The end of Term 2 will be Friday 1st July, all playgroups will then break for 2 weeks returning the week of Monday 18th July.
